The 1950 TD Midget combined the TC's drivetrain, a modified hypoid-geared rear axle, the MG Y-type chassis, a familiar T-type style body and independent suspension using coil springs from the MG Y-type saloon: a 1950 road-test report described as "most striking" the resulting "transformation ... in the comfort of riding". Also lifted from the company's successful 1¼-litre saloon for the TD was the (still highly-geared) rack and pinion steering. In addition the TD featured smaller 15-inch (380 mm) disc type road wheels, a left-hand drive option and standard equipment bumpers and over-riders. Однажды, промозглым пасмурным днём, на фоне туберкулёзного диспансера ( или чего-то такого, но базирующегося в симпатичном старом здании), мы поразительно интересно знакомились с Ауди А6. Он оставил о себе неоднозначное впечатление, мы разглядели в нём первую потенциальную жертву для нового Генезиса и пообещали как только, так сразу оценить Гену. Настал этот момент, мы получили Дженезис г80 на денёк ( а потом я, ещё на неделю ^_^ ). Снаружи Ура! Корейцы с одной стороны вернулись туда, откуда пришли ( копирование/переосмысление западных аналогов), с другой стороны сделали это замечательно. Машина выглядит собирательным образом солидного бизнес-седана. Классические пропорции, отсутствие аляпистых и вычурных элементов, аккуратно встроенные "инновации" в виде лед-оптики, камер и т.п. Жаль, что при всём при этом, машина остаётся достаточно безликой... Внутри Ну, молодцы, чего уж. Вполне добротные материалы, хорошая сборка, интересное цветовое исполнение...Вот только в духе конца 00х, начала 10х годов. Нужно ещё поработать, но уже не плохо. ( хотя материалы тут придутся в пору Сонате и т.п., но не бизнес-седану) Это спереди... А сзади - вообще огонь))) Места вагон, электропривод сидений, шторки, здоровенный пульт управления мультимедиа. А6 и г30 плачут до обезвоживания просто! В движении Ну корабль-кораблём. Большой, грузный, валкий, плавный и т.п. Единственный минус - показался жестковат на лежачих. В остальном - нормальный такой сонный кит. С неплохой шумоизоляцией между прочим) Плюсы - симпатичный. Выглядит солидно, компромисно и не по-корейски. - шикарные задние сидения - богатенькие комплектации - вменяемый расход топлива - хорошая шумо-изоляция - качественная сборка - гарантия и консъерж-сервис Минусы - материалы в отделке не дотягивают до конкурентов - абсолютное отсутствие драйва ( и определённый недостаток динамики) - не самая приятная работа систем безопасности ( нервнейший контроль слепых зон и сближения тому примеры) - ценник вплотную подбирается к европейским конкурентам Вывод Ну, что можно сказать. С точки зрения заднего пассажира я бы и А6 и г30 и т.п. послал лесом и вальяжно расхаживал по заднему сидению г80 :D С точки зрения водителя - ну, Гена самый медленный и неповоротливый в классе. Так что в номинации "лучший доступный авто бизнес-класса для задних пассажиров" - Дженезис смело всех валит. В остальных соревнованиях ему пока приходится тяжко.
