Eric gives updates on ExVenture and Grapevine. Mark and Josh both have referenced ExVenture before, for using different ideas. They mention Prometheus and Grafana, two monitoring platforms that work well with Elixir applications.  Eric also describes how Grapevine and ExVenture interact to help gamers get profiled with their achievements. Eric shares his experiences getting ExVenture set up with a continuous integration (CI) server. Panelists agree having side projects help developers try out new technology without deadline pressure. At first, I was very hesitant.  As I thought, having a blind cat would be hard work, but they persuaded me to just go and see her. So I did, and I have to say that it was love at first sight. Within 15 minutes, I had decided I wanted to adopt. She's been with me since September 2014.  Can you stop being so cute? And she's absolutely adorable. It's really amazing how blind cats get around. They kind of form a mental map of their environment and learn their surroundings really quickly. She's definitely a bit of a diva. She likes a lot of attention and a lot of playtime. And we're a very happy family. I honestly can't imagine life without her. She's really, really special.
