Cayenne Pepper 1 Tbsp. Parmesan Cheese Chopped Parsley 1 1/2 Cups Milk and Buttermilk 8 Oz. Each Mayo and Sour Cream 2 Tbsp. Honey 2-3 Tbsp. Horseradish 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce Procedure: 1. In a large bowl, combine the mayonnaise, sour cream, honey, horseradish, and Worcesteshire sauce. Mix thoroughly and season with salt and pepper to your liking. Refrigerate for an hour. 2. Heat about 1 Qt. vegetable oil in a large pot over medium heat for at least 5 minutes. 3. Remove the ribs from the underside of the mushrooms and discard. Slice the mushrooms into " fry sized portions " It works best when the underside of the mushroom is facing you. Be delicate when slicing as to not break the mushroom. 4. Using 2 separate bowls, place the flour and cayenne in one and combine the milk and buttermilk in the other. 5. In batches, dip the mushrooms into the milk mixture. Coat thoroughly. 6. Then place the mushrooms in the flour mixture. Coat thoroughly. Using a strainer, sift off any additional flour from the mushrooms. 7 Fry the mushrooms for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown. Try and keep them submerged with a pair of tongs for even cooking. Remove them from the oil and drain any excess oil by allowing them to drip. Place them on a paper towel to drain further. 8. Toss the mushrooms in a large bowl with Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley. Serve immediately with your amazing horseradish sauce. Enjoy Guys!! * For button mushrooms, keep them whole and fry for about 4 minutes. If they are really large slice them in half and cook for 4 minutes * For Shiitake mushrooms, remove and discard the stems and deep fry for about 2 minutes as they are really thin.
