However, the brackets did fit. On the back face of the saw, one need only to remove the rip extension, drill a 10mm hole 50mm from each side edge and insert the 3/8 bolts supplied. I show you in the video how to install the carbide blade, included, and then how it functions on one of the wooden pickets. The laser turns on automatically when you press the start button to activate the saw blade. This circular saw makes straight cut and angled cuts to wood. If you're looking for a simple, versatile, basic, 7 1/4 inch blade, circular saw, this may be what you need. I only intend to use it for small wood-building jobs around the house so it fits my needs. And I've looked after it. I wish the power lead was 2ft longer to make it easier to position without using an extension lead sometimes. And removing/replacing the riving knife is my biggest bugbare.
