Coast Character: Cynthia Harris

Cynthia Harris has been teaching students welding at Moss Points Career and Technical Education Center for almost four years. Before that she had a successful career as a welder for Ingalls Avondale and in San Diego. Harris is the first-ever female chairperson of the Pascagoula section of the American Welding Association and has also been named the District American Welding Society Educator of the Year for three consecutive years.,
